The Academic Administrator oversees the administration of all aspects of the Graduate Programs in the Chemistry Department including B.A./M.A. M.A. and Ph.D. programs.

Reporting to the Director of Operations and to the faculty Directors of Graduate Studies and Graduate Admissions this positions responsibilities include overseeing the logistics of student recruitment and their progress through the program advising students on program logistics and requirements managing student financial aid hiring and payroll ensuring adherence to the BU Graduate Worker Union (BUGWU) contract and coordinating professional development activities for graduate students. Additionally position requires year-round academic and financial tracking reporting and analysis for the Departments Graduate Program with regard to students status which is used for recruitment retention and matriculation forecasting. Required Skills

B.A./B.S. degree 2 years of administrative experience preferably in an academic setting.
