This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-performing skilled nursing facility that is looking for an experienced clinical leader to provide additional support during an 812 week assignment. The facility has a strong survey history stable operations and is backed by a nationally recognized skilled nursing operator.

Position Summary

The Resource Nurse will provide clinical leadership and support to the nursing team while assisting with day-to-day operations throughout the interim assignment. This individual will partner closely with facility leadership to ensure quality resident care maintain regulatory compliance and provide hands-on support where needed.

This role is ideal for an experienced RN who enjoys stepping into well-run facilities supporting clinical teams and maintaining high standards of resident care during leadership transitions or periods of increased operational need.

Key Responsibilities

Provide hands-on clinical support to nursing staff and facility leadership

Assist with daily nursing operations and resident care oversight

Support regulatory compliance and survey readiness initiatives

Monitor clinical quality measures and assist with performance improvement activities

Mentor and support licensed nurses and nursing assistants

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote positive resident outcomes

Assist with admissions care planning documentation and clinical workflows as needed

Serve as a clinical resource for staff while maintaining high standards of care

Qualifications

Active RN license required

Previous skilled nursing experience required

Prior leadership experience as a Charge Nurse Unit Manager Assistant Director of Nursing Director of Nursing MDS Coordinator or Clinical Consultant preferred

Strong understanding of long-term care regulations and survey process

Excellent communication leadership and organizational skills

Ability to begin an interim assignment immediately
