POSITION: 8TH GRADE SCIENCE TEACHER

Effective2026-27 School Year

LOCATION: KETTERING FAIRMONT MIDDLE SCHOOL

GENERAL INFORMATION: Applicants must have a current 4-9 OR7-12 Social Studies Ohio teaching license.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Partial List

1. Develops daily and seasonal educational objectives.
2. Supervises and manages all classroom activities.
3. Participates in school-wide programs and activities.
4. Communicate with parents and guardians of assigned students.
5. Maintains records regarding student progress.
6. Provides a variety of instructional experiences for all students.

QUALIFICATIONS Partial List

1. Valid Ohio teaching license.
2. Must pass criminal background checks and pre-employment drug screening.
3. Collaboration and problem-solving skills.
4. Educational technology skills including but not limited to the Google Suite and Desmos.
5. Special consideration will be given to applicants certified to teach College Credit Plus in the State of Ohio.

SALARY: According to the approved teacher salary schedule.
