We are grounded in EL Educations expeditionary learning framework a research-substantiated model for equitable education with roots in the adventure and leadership organization Outward Bound. QualificationsMinimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree and North Carolina teacher licensure (or eligibility for licensure) in middle grades math and/or Qualifications: Demonstrated expertise in the teaching of middle grade students. Lived experience that supports connections with groups of students who have diverse racial and ethnic identities. Skills/interests in one or more of the following areas: differentiated instruction social justice environmental literacy character education and service learning.
