POSITION: 6TH GRADEELA TEACHER

Effective2026-27 School Year

LOCATION: KETTERING FAIRMONT MIDDLE SCHOOL

GENERAL INFORMATION: Seeking applicants with an Ohio teaching license (1-8 OR 4-9) who have the ability to teach the full range of classes for elementary students. Preference will be given to those with previous experience in teaching ELA.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Partial List:

1. Develops daily and seasonal educational objectives.
2. Supervises and manages all classroom activities.
3. Participates in school-wide programs and activities.
4. Communicates with parents and guardians of assigned students.
5. Maintains records regarding student progress.
6. Provides a variety of instructional experiences for all students.

QUALIFICATIONS Partial List:

1. Valid Ohio teaching license.
2. Must pass criminal background checks and pre-employment drug screening.
3. Collaboration and problem-solving skills.
4. Educational technology skills.

SALARY: According to the approved Teacher Salary Schedule.
