Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.) 4 days on 4 days off overtime as needed including weekends and call out.
Job Summary: Conducts preventative maintenance and required maintenance on equipment and structures in the Mill Packaging and Warehouse Shipping and Dryer areas. Conducts maintenance activities including but not limited to greasing parts/equipment replacement trouble shooting welding/cutting equipment design and installation structure repair inspection of equipment product protection during maintenance and reconciliation of parts and tools. Also Responsible for ensuring that equipment and areas are clean following maintenance activities and do not pose potential contamination issues.
Basic Qualifications
- Must be able to workdays and/or nights.
- Must be at least age 21 have a valid drivers license and a clear driving record.
- Must be mechanically inclined.
- Must be willing to climb up to 200 feet high.
- Must be willing to lift up to 100 pounds.
- Must be willing to learn pipe / sheet metal welding and fabrication.
- Must be willing to tolerate working in hot and cold temperatures for extended periods of time.
- Must be willing to be trained to operate heavy machinery. (Bobcat Forklift and Front-End Loader.)
- Must be available for callouts at all times and be able to respond within 35 minutes.
- Must be willing to be trained to do necessary paperwork.
- Must be able to be trained to operate the control room.
- Must be willing to bend stoop push pull twist and turn throughout the day.
- Must read speak and understand the English language fluently.
- Must be willing and able to wear the required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Must be willing and able to follow safety and food safety policies.
- Other duties as requested by supervisor.

- Electrical experience preferred but not required.
