5th Grade ScienceMath Teacher

Corpus Christi Catholic School is seeking a faithful enthusiastic and dynamic 5th grade Math and Science Teacher to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year. Responsibilities:

• Recognizes and supports the mission of Corpus Christi Catholic School by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church and integrating faith into daily interactions and learning experiences
• Builds authentic caring relationships with students recognizing that children learn best when they feel known valued challenged and loved.
• Fosters a classroom culture where curiosity perseverance and respect encourage students to ask questions take academic risks learn from mistakes and grow in confidence.
• Establishes a consistent disciplinary approach which promotes self-direction and positive self-image; sets high standards for student behavior and successfully manages inappropriate behavior effectively
• Designs and delivers engaging standards-based math and science instruction that inspires inquiry critical thinking problem-solving and a love of learning
• Provides hands-on collaborative learning experiences that encourage students to investigate explore and make meaningful connections between classroom concepts and the world around them
• Differentiates instruction to meet the academic developmental and social-emotional needs of all learners including students with accommodations and diverse learning needs
• Develops instructional plans and organizes class time to provide a balanced program of instruction demonstration and working time
• Continues to participate in professional development by attending seminars workshops or professional meetings
• Encourages parental involvement in students education and ensures effective communication with students and parents
• Coordinates with other school professional staff members especially within grade level and participates in faculty meetings and committees

Required Qualifications:

• Current Professional Educators License or endorsement
• Bachelors Degree
