Voltis hiring for a3rd Shift CNC Lathe Machine Operatorfor a company located in San Diego (Miramar Area) CA..

As a3rd Shift Lathe Machine Operator you will:

• Operate production machinery and equipment in accordance with established procedures and production schedules.
• Set up machines for production runs including loading materials and adjusting machine settings as required.
• Monitor machine performance to ensure efficient operation and consistent product quality.
• Perform routine machine start-up shutdown and changeover activities.
• Identify and correct minor machine issues jams or operational interruptions to minimize downtime.
• Conduct in-process inspections and verify parts meet quality specifications throughout production runs.
• Measure and inspect finished products using gauges measuring tools and visual inspection techniques.
• Record production output scrap downtime and quality data accurately.
• Replenish raw materials and components to maintain continuous production.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform basic preventative maintenance tasks.
• Communicate machine performance quality concerns and maintenance needs to supervisors and production leadership.
• Follow all safety procedures operating instructions and company policies while working with manufacturing equipment.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives focused on increasing machine efficiency quality and throughput.

This is a full-time Direct-hire opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience operating CNC automated semi-automated extrusion molding packaging converting or other production machinery.
• Experience performing machine setups adjustments and changeovers.
• Ability to read work orders production schedules and basic manufacturing documentation.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 3rdShift: 9:45 PM - 5:45 AM

Pay Range: $24/hr $34/hr

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidates education work experience work location specific job duties certifications etc.
