Background:
Under the supervision of the Supervisor the Production Clerk supports daily manufacturing operations for private-label wipes by maintaining accurate production documentation in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). This role ensures batch record accuracy material traceability and timely completion of production records to support quality compliance and on-time customer delivery.
Responsibilities:
Create and process material requests in JD Edwards (JDE) based on approved work orders
Issue raw materials and components to production in JDE and accurately record material consumption
Monitor material usage in JDE and report shortages variances or discrepancies to supervisors
Review on-hand inventory committed quantities and reorder points in JDE
Notify supervisor of low stock levels and material replenishment needs
Assist with inventory counts and reconcile physical inventory to JDE system balances
Support cycle counts and physical inventory audits per company procedures
Investigate and resolve inventory variances between physical counts and JDE records
Scan finished goods into JDE upon completion of work orders
Verify finished goods transactions in JDE including item number quantity location and work order
Ensure timely and accurate inventory transactions in JDE to support production warehousing and shipping
Respond to inquiries regarding work order status inventory levels and production documentation
Track measure and record the weight/volume of liquid waste generated during production in accordance with reporting requirements
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ability to communicate in English required; bilingual in Spanish preferred.
Basic understanding of inventory control material flow and manufacturing processes
Experience using JD Edwards (JDE) for work orders inventory transactions or material issues.
Familiarity with BOMs item numbers and work order documentation
Ability to accurately measure record and document production data.
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced production environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Demands:
Manufacturing setting requires PPE.
Ability to stand walk bend reach and move throughout the production floor.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Flexibility to support overtime or varying shifts as needed.
Work Environment:
Work is performed in a manufacturing packaging and warehouse environment.
Exposure to varying temperatures including hot cold and humid conditions.
Regular exposure to moving mechanical equipment forklifts and other warehouse machinery.
Noise levels are typically moderate to high; hearing protection may be required in certain areas.
Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses gloves and assigned uniforms if required.
Work pace may be fast with frequent deadlines and shifting priorities.

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $19.04-$21.00*. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
