2nd Shift Plant Manager

Shift Information

• Steady 2nd Shift
• Typical shift start time: 2:00 PM
• Flexibility required based on operational and business demands
• Travel between both plants required as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Lead safe and efficient operations across both facilities during 2nd shift
• Supervise and support production employees and departmental operations
• Promote a strong safety-first and quality-focused culture
• Coordinate production activities and communicate effectively across departments
• Troubleshoot operational staffing quality and equipment-related issues
• Support employee development through coaching training and cross-functional learning opportunities
• Utilize manufacturing and business systems
• Support customer requirements shipping/dock activity and production priorities
• Escalate critical operational safety staffing or customer concerns appropriately
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and operational support functions as needed

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum of 10 years of manufacturing experience
• Previous leadership lead or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong communication organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions
• Strong technology and computer skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Flexibility to support operational needs outside standard hours when necessary

Preferred

• Associates Technical or Bachelors degree in Engineering Manufacturing or related field
• Experience leading teams in a multi-department manufacturing environment
• Prior experience in stamping press operations machining or metal manufacturing environments preferred
