Job Summary
Under the direction of the Manager/Supervisor/Lead Person the Mechanic A is responsible for preventive maintenance minor repairs on all packaging machines. Also responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product :Must have knowledge and experience with repairing and maintaining mechanical electrical hydraulic pneumatic PLC systems and industrial emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine and identify crafty solutions to their organizationUses data to make other team members in the areas of instrumentation control and electrical be proficient in electrical minimum 220 volts and above.A high degree of working knowledge and practical application of instrumentation controls low medium and high voltage switchgear transformers programmable logic controllers protective relays and motor control centers.
