General Information:

Hitachi Energy is seeking for a 2nd Shift Material Handler for its Mount Pleasant PA Distribution Center.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Loading and Unloading: Material Handlers are responsible forloading and unloadingvarious transport items within the warehouse. They ensure that deliveries match purchase orders accurately.
  • Inventory Management: They meticulouslyrecord inventory statuses keeping track of stock levels and ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Product Labeling and Organization: Material Handlerslabel productsand place them appropriately within the warehouse. They identify and locate the right products during the delivery process.
  • Handling Returns: When dealing with returns Material Handlers completetechnical documentationand other necessary communication.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Material Handlers work closely with internal departments tolocate missing packages rectify incorrect deliveries and replace damaged products.

Your Background:

  • GED / High School degree required.
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.

Moves and stores materials/products using a combination of manual labor and low complexity machinery/equipment (e.g. forklifts and conveyors) including: Handling and maintaining flow of materials and products according to established guidelines. Logging the movement of incoming and outgoing materials and products. Operating low complexity motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment An Experienced Para-Professional (S2) requires basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience and may require vocational or technical education. May require the following proficiency: Works under moderate supervision. Problems are typically of a routine nature but may at times require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures. Communicates information that requires some explanation or interpretation.
