2nd Shift Machinist (Tool Maker / Mold Maker)
Nephi UT / Horizon Foundry Facility
Full-Time 10-hour Shifts / 4 days a week / Overtime as required

THE ROLE

Were hiring for Machinists at our Foundry Facility in Nephi UT. As a member of our team youll put your precision skills to work crafting machining and fine-tuning critical components that keep heavy industrial operations running at peak performance while turning raw castings into high-quality finished products.

WHAT YOULL DO

Readblueprints engineering drawings specifications and interpret GD&T.

Use micrometers calipersindicators and all common machining tools.

Able to use basic mathgeometryand trigonometry.

Set upand operatemachines by installing pallets vises tombstones and fixtures.

Maintains specifications by taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming; replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.

Operate an overhead crane and drive a forklift.

Write andEdit G code and M code programsas required.

Operate 3 axis vertical CNC Mills.

Operate CNC MillsLathes and Turning Centers.

Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

Maintain equipment using preventative maintenance.

Maintain an organized and clean work environment.

Experience in rubber mold building preferred but not required.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Required toliftupto 50 lbs.

Moderate walking standing lifting carrying bending kneeling and reaching. Work around moving objects and with machinery with moving parts.

WHAT YOU BRING

2 Years Technical schooling preferred.

5 yearson the job experiencepreferred.

High School graduate will be considered.

Ableto work well with others.
