JOB SUMMARY:
Hog Slat Inc. the worlds leading provider of parts equipment and turn-key construction to the swine & poultry industries is seeking a 2nd shift Leadwith excellent reasoning and mathematical skills to join the team at our Clinton NcManufacturing location.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as business conditions change.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as business conditions change.
- Direct workflow to ensure production standards are being met for department
- Log all production and system transactions in AX
- Positions parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints.
- Fastens parts together with bolts screws speed clips rivets or other fasteners.
- Removes small quantities of metal with hand files and scrapers to produce close fit between parts.
- Operates drill presses pneumatic and hard tools or riveting machines to assist in assembly operations
- Adhere to all safety procedures
- Train new associates manage shift coverage and foster a collaborative solutions-driven work environment.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
The IDEAL CANDIDATE will have the following experience/educational background:
- Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals.
- Must be able to lift to 50 pounds on a daily basis
- Staple work history required
- Data entry and general computer skills
- Strong conflict resolution time management and hands-on knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
- Fluent in English and Spanish
