2nd Shift General Maintenance Mechanic

Position SummaryOur Hagerstown MD Distribution Center is looking for a 2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic to join our this role you will contribute to our operations by handling various projects and keeping our facility equipment in optimal working condition. Your primary focus will include servicing and repairing machinery such as conveyors forklifts battery chargers wrappers and other vital warehouse ResponsibilitiesAdhere to all safety and quality standards including LOTO PPE and electrical preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors packaging machinery and forklifts and qualify to train and certify other troubleshoot and repair various warehouse vehicles and electric adjust and replace worn components in motors transmissions hydraulics and braking routine and scheduled equipment and test machinery regularly and following and maintain electrical systems and vehicle batteries and propane tanks including charging cleaning and fluid general facility upkeep structural painting and lighting inventory for spare parts and request competitive vendor purchase orders track project budget limits and close out work equipment repairs to track long-term assets and maintenance with warehouse rack installation and office furniture safety compliance and machinery audits across the outdoor tasks including seasonal snow removal and basic grounds trade and hand tools safely and to perform other maintenance duties as : High School diploma or equivalent; Technical or Trade School training : Minimum 5 years in warehouse & distribution center with electrical plumbing HVAC conveyor forklift repairs and welding is a plusStrong coordination and communication skills a clean and organized work to stand walk stoop bend reach pull and push for extended periods. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
