Position Overview

As a CNC Machinist you will operate CNC milling/boring/turning machines equipped with FANUC controls to machine castings and forgings into precision components for industry-leading customers. This role requires a strong machining background blueprint reading skills and experience holding close tolerances while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Schedule

2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 4:20 PM - 2:50 AM

What Youll Do
  • Operate CNC machines utilizing FANUC controls.
  • Read and interpret blueprints engineering drawings work instructions and specifications.
  • Perform precision machining operations while maintaining close tolerances and surface finish requirements.
  • Complete basic machine setups tooling changes and necessary adjustments.
  • Run multiple machines when production needs require.
  • Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments and quality inspection tools.
  • Verify product conformance to customer and engineering specifications.
  • Follow all company safety quality and manufacturing procedures.
  • Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.
  • Support production goals and perform additional duties as assigned.
What Were Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Ability to read write and communicate in English.
  • Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
  • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5 years of CNC machining experience formal training or a combination of both.
  • Experience operating CNC machines with FANUC controls.
  • Knowledge of machining techniques tooling light setups and CNC machine operations.
  • Experience machining castings forgings and close-tolerance components.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Willingness to work overtime when needed.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
