Position Summary
The Afterschool Snack Program Coordinator is responsible for the distribution and service of nutritious snacks to high school students.

Under the direction of the Department of Food and Nutrition Services assists by the program by:
- Picking up snacks from the Somerville High School kitchen
- Serving snacks to students
- Tallying the total amount of snacks distributed to students each day
- At the end of the month provide the SHS kitchen with the snack menu containing the total number of snacks distributed
- Able to organize manage coordinate implement and oversee snack program
- Able to maintain records
- Prepare clear concise and comprehensive reports
- Excise sound and independent judgement within general policy guidelines
- Establish and maintain working relationships with other staff
Qualifications Knowledge Abilities & Skills
- High School diploma
- Knowledge of Food Safety preferred

- Mobility:Frequent walking standing and navigating stairs.
- Lifting/Strength:Ability to lift push pull or carry objects ranging from 10 to 15 lbs.
- Physical Dexterity:Bending crouching kneeling stooping and reaching to assist students.
- Stationary Tasks:Remaining in a stationary position (sitting/standing) for long periods.
