Job Summary
Program Director for the Afterschool Program at Williamstown Elementary School
6 hr day. Program includes a summer program during the month of June.
The 21st Century Community Learning Centers Program (CCLC) is a U.S. Department of Education program administered through the states providing grants to schools youth development agencies community and faith-based organizations to provide high quality expanded learning opportunities outside of regular school hours for children in a safe and sound educational environment. The program is authorized under Title IV Part B of theNo Child Left Behind Act of 2001.
The main purposes of this program are to:
- Provide opportunities for academic enrichment to help students at risk meet Federal State and local student performance standards in core academic subjects such as reading and mathematics;
- Offer students a broad array of additional services programs and activities that are designed to reinforce and complement the regular academic program of participating students;
- Offer families of students served by 21st CCLC opportunities for literacy and related educational development.

Site Coordinator
TITLE: 21st Century CLC Site Coordinator
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree preferred but not required
REPORTS TO: 21st Century Program Director
JOB GOAL: To serve as the Site Coordinator for the 21st Century after school program
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Program planning for the regular school year and summer session
- Scheduling of staff (certified and classified)
- Community outreach to find additional program partners
- Collaboration with community partners to provide support for programming
- Collaboration and communication with regular school day teachers and staff on student progress and needs
- Data entry in the Cayen online program
- Collecting and analyzing data related to grant goals
- Planning attending and communicating progress and needs to the Advisory Council
- Completing program requests quarterly reports budget amendments etc.
- Managing necessary paperwork related to the grant and programming
- Communicating with grant representatives
- Working in the program
- Communicating with families
- Planning and conducting family engagement opportunities
- Attending necessary trainings conferences and meetings related to strengthening the program
- Providing support to program staff
- Maintaining appropriate participant information and confidentiality of information
- Effective communication with the Program Director and school administration
- Performs other duties consistent with the position assigned and may be requested by the Program Director Principal or Superintendent
