The U.S. Summer Internship Program provides an immersive introduction to the commercial real estate industry and an opportunity to build the foundational skills needed for a career in the field. The program combines hands-on experience with comprehensive on-the-job training led by experienced real estate professionals covering real estate fundamentals financial principles and financial modeling using Excel and Argus Enterprise. The internship is designed to provide meaningful exposure to the business while preparing Summer Interns for potential full-time opportunities with Eastdil Secured Savills following graduation.

The M&A/Corporate Advisory team offers Summer Interns exposure to strategic and capital markets advisory for public and private real estate companies. Summer Interns gain insight into how the team combines real estate expertise capital markets knowledge and industry relationships to advise clients on complex transactions including mergers and acquisitions joint ventures equity and debt recapitalizations portfolio sales and other strategic transactions.

The 2027 U.S. Summer Internship Program begins on Monday June 14th 2027 and concludes on Friday August 6th 2027.

Essential Functions

• Participate in comprehensive training covering commercial real estate fundamentals corporate finance financial analysis and Excel
• Complete financial modeling valuation and practical exercises across a variety of transaction disciplines
• Analyze company-level financial information including financial statements cash flows capital structures valuation metrics and other relevant data
• Conduct company transaction and market research to support transaction-related assignments and presentations
• Participate in case studies and practical exercises designed to develop analytical and corporate finance skills
• Prepare and deliver research presentations and other project-based assignments
• Collaborate with team members on a capstone project that applies skills and concepts developed throughout the internship
• Participate in training sessions Q&A discussions and other professional development opportunities
  
  

Education and Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelors or masters degree with an anticipated graduation date during the 2027-2028 academic year
• Professional experience through internships part-time or full-time work and/or extra-curricular activities
• Minimum GPA of 3.5
