What You Will Do:

Pratt and Whitney Engine Design and Systems Integration (EDSI) is seeking a Systems Engineering Intern with interest in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to support next-generation propulsion candidate will be responsible for the development of system models for one or more will also be involved in Pratt & Whitneys digital transformation initiatives and be a contributor to P&W EDSI standard position provides the opportunity to be involved with cutting-edge digital engineering capabilities for advanced military and commercial propulsion responsibilities will be commensurate with their background experience and education.

• Develop Systems Engineering Models in order to perform systems engineering tasks including:
• Deriving and analyzing requirements defining system logical and physical architectures defining interfaces requirements analysis defining system logical and physical architectures defining interfaces verification planning and trade studies
• Interface with engineering leads team members and other discipline teams and provide task progress updates
• Participate in customer and/or internal technical reviews throughout the product lifecycle
• Ensure consistent application of engineering best practices and comply with EDSI standard work

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Must be pursuing Bachelors or Advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or STEM major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.

• Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  Fluent in English (verbal and written)

Qualifications We Prefer

• Prior internship or co-op experience in the aerospace and defense industry
  Experience in systems engineering roles or familiarity with systems engineering concepts
• Experience using a SysML or UML tool such as IBM Rhapsody Cameo/Magic Draw or equivalent
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A passion for learning about and pursuing a career in aviation and aerospace
• Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability in responding to new business challenges

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 37000 USD - 82000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.
