Solar Turbines engineering intern positions are created to provide students with challenging projects that play a key role in supporting gas turbinepackageand system design as well as associated development activities. Under the guidance of mentors students are given a meaningful work experience while gaining exposure to the entire corporate environment. This includes training courses networking events and facility tours along with a challenging project assignment to complete that enables them the opportunity to apply classroom education to real work situations. Positions are available in mechanical controls systemssoftwareand display development fields.ThisInternshipis an eleven-week program.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currentlyin the process of obtaininga 4-year or advanced-degree in Engineering Computer Science or other relevantdegree

• Must be classified by school in Fall2026as one of the following: Sophomore Junior Senior or Graduatestudent

• Overall GPA of at least2.8on a 4.0 scale

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of engineering fundamentals

• Ability to work well in a team environment as well asindividually

• PreviousInternshipexperience

• Problem solvingskills

• High energy level and sense of urgency

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Good business / technical judgment

• Ability to handle multiple priorities for a variety oftasks

Summary Pay Range:

$26.00 - $43.00

Intern Hourly Rate:

An interns hourly rate is based on the major/degree being pursued and the number of completed academic hours achieved before the start of the internship.
