Business Overview As the companys second line of defense Corporate Risk or Independent Risk Management provides independent oversight of risk-taking activities. Independent Risk Managementestablishesand maintains Wells Fargos risk management program and provides oversight including challenges to and independent assessmentofthefrontlinesexecution of its risk management responsibilities. We manage risk according to theRisk Management Frameworkand ensure all employees understand their individual accountability for managing risk.
Program Overview The Corporate Risk Development Program(Workout)provides you with an introduction to Wells Fargo and an opportunity to gain comprehensive industry experiencewithintheCommercialBanking Chief Risk Office.Your experience includes active portfolio management of a distressed credit portfolioof 10-15 accounts as the primary analyst where you will complete quality loan reporting and credit analysis as well asparticipateincustomer facingconversationsandmonthly portfolio reviews.You will build a deep understanding of the companys operations business strategies and corporate culture through speaking engagements relevant workassignmentsand group mentoring. You will also receive coaching and performance feedback sessionsparticipatein groupprojectsand informative learning sessions with key leaders. The 2-year program is designed to provide recent college graduates with a blend of business and career developmental training opportunities that incorporate real-world experiences through on-the-job learning and professional development to help you successfully transition from college to corporate life at Wells Fargo.#earlycareers
Workout Businesses include:
Credit Resolution Group (CRG):Manages and services troubled and distressed customer relationships across the banks Corporate Commercial and Wealth Management business units.
Real Estate Managed Asset Group (REMAG):Manages andservicestroubled and distressed real estate loans through resolution.
Responsibilities may include:
Participate in providingconsulting and support for projects and initiatives with moderate risk
Participate in professional development speaker series and other program-related activities
Effectively research a risk problem bydeterminingroot causeestablishingpriorities and analyzing different outcomes to recommendan appropriate solution
Works cooperatively and builds relationships with others at all levels throughout Corporate Risk Commercial Bankingand Wells Fargo and is viewed as a team player bydemonstratingflexibility adaptability and collaboration
Demonstrates strong organizational skills by prioritizing work meetingdeadlinesandworkunder pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
Build and sustain relationships with peersassociatesrelationship managersExecutiveOfficeand business partners
Provide strategic support to riskteams in coordination and execution of initiatives
Demonstrated ability tofacilitateeffectively in both a face-to-face and virtual environment

Required Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a bachelors degree with an expected graduation date betweenDecember 2026 June 2027in the fields of one or more of the following:Accounting FinanceorEconomics
