As a member of the Quality Systems & Validation team you will provide technical and scientific support focusing on developing process data analytics/visualization tools to enhance monitoring and decision-making in Quality. The role includes creating automated dashboards and visualization methods to streamline data presentation enable real-time trend identification and improve process understanding. By building and applying these tools you will also contribute to strengthening process robustness efficiency and compliance while supporting routine activities.

How You Will Contribute:

Duties will include the following under the managers supervision

  • Creating and improving upon Spotfire Qlik and Power BI dashboards to automate process data presentation

  • Contribute to team discussions under data visualization and proper data assessment

  • Share knowledge about the data analytics/visualization tools created for long-term sustainability

  • Assist in analyzing complex technical problems then finding and implementing solutions.

Internship Development Opportunities:

  • Hands-on exposure to Quality processes in many different units such as Quality Systems Quality Compliance and Quality Control

  • Application of process data analytics to monitor quality performance identify trends and support data-driven decision-making.

  • Practical understanding of working in a regulated Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment including compliance and documentation requirements.

  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams within Quality to support process improvements

  • Experience translating technical data and findings into clear actionable reports and presentations.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelors or a Masters in Engineering or a related discipline

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in data analysis and visualization

  • Understanding of programming languages (e.g. Python and VBA)

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team and communicate technical findings clearly.

  • A passion for science and an interest in careful investigation and creative analytical thinking.

  • This position will be Hybrid and require 2-3 days per week in our Lexinton MA office

Internship Eligibility

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship

  • Must be currently enrolled in a degree program graduating December 2026 or later

  • The internship program is 10-12 weeks depending on the two start dates (May 26th-August 14th or June 15th- August 21st)

  • The intern must be able to commit to one of these time frames

  • Able to work full time 40 hours a week during internship dates

  • Takeda does not provide a housing stipend or relocation support for the U.S Summer Internship Program

U.S. Hourly Wage Range:

$21.00 - $46.00

The estimated hourly range reflectsan anticipatedrange for this position. The actual hourly wage offered will depend on the candidates school year/level to be entered following completion of internship. The actual hourly wage offered will bein accordance withstate or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. internship benefits vary by location and may include:
