What You Will Do

• Perform software development within an Agile Software Development group.
• Design and develop high performance software in C and/or Java.
• This 1st shift role will be 100% on-site and based in Westford MA.

What You Will Learn

• Experience working with a high performance agile team to build high quality software quickly.
• Added depth to existing C Java and/or AI/ML development skills.
• Exposure to real-world military applications of AI/ML.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Experience developing software in C and/or Java.
• Experience training AI/ML models and/or integrating AI / ML models into application software.
• Must be pursuing a Bachelors or advanced degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) such as Computer Science and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship session.

Experience may be obtained through onthejob experience research coursework or projects.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience working with a team of developers.
• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
• Experience with web development.
• Experience with performance measurement and tuning.

The salary range for this role is 37000 USD - 82000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
