Carowinds is searching high and low for the creepiest scare actors this side of the grave to join the Carolinas largest Halloween event- SCarowinds! Show us your drop-dead talent and prowl our midways with your fellow undead. Candidates must be energetic dedicated exercise good judgment and remain safety conscious at all times.

Positions are currently available for those who are 16 or older.
As part of the SCarowinds Terror Team daily assigned duties vary & may include tasks such as:
Scare guests of all ages without touching by using the element of surprise
Entertain guests as a costumed character by bringing to life the personality of the specific character through hand/body movements and strong vocalization where applicable
Develop gestures and movements unique to the character to make our guests scream in terror
Wear complete costume makeup and/or mask provided as assigned.
Maintain a healthy and FUN scare experience for guests and fellow monsters

- Ability to demonstrate strong vocal tones & basic acting ability.

- Ability to maintain a calm demeanor during emotionally charged situations.
- Ability to wear costumes with masks and/or heavy make-up.
- Ability to work in a dark or poorly lit area with special effects and atmospheric fog.
- Availability to include some weekdays weekends evenings and holidays.
