Job Summary (Elementary Special Education Teacher Cedar Hill TX):
- Provide special education students with learning activities and experiences to support intellectual emotional physical and social development
- Develop modify and prepare curricula and instructional materials tailored to student ability levels
- Collaborate with faculty parents and guardians to achieve optimal student outcomes
- Attend meetings consistently and submit reports in a timely manner
- Demonstrate effective communication and organizational skills (written and oral)
- Hold a Bachelors degree from an accredited university
- Possess valid Texas teaching certificate with special education endorsements
- Understand the unique needs of assigned special education students
- Have knowledge of Admission Review and Dismissal (ARD) Committee processes and Individual Education Plan (IEP) goal setting and implementation
- Adapt curriculum and instruction for students with special needs
- Possess experience through student teaching approved internships or related work
- Join a supportive team with transparent pay practices referral rewards and professional development assistance
