2026-27 Spanish Teacher

Frontier School of Innovation-Middle is seeking a Spanish teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The starting salary is $60000; commensurate with experience and education. The first workday will be July 30 2026 beginning with new teacher training.

Qualification:

• Possess a bachelors degree from an accredited college or university.
• Possess a valid Missouri teacher certificate in Spanish.

Responsibilities:

• Plan a program of study that meets the individual needs interests and abilities of the students.
• Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students.
• Prepare for classes assigned and show written evidence of preparation upon request of immediate supervisor.
• Utilize various instructional techniques and instructional media consistent with the physical limitations of the location provided and the needs and capabilities of the individuals or student groups involved.
• Assess the students progress regularly and provide progress reports as required.
• Take necessary and reasonable precautions to protect the students equipment materials and facilities.
• Maintain accurate and complete records as required by law district policy and administrative regulations.
• Comply with all district policies rules and regulations.
• Develop classroom rules and maintain order in a fair and just manner.
• Be available to the students and parents for education-related purposes.
• Plan and supervise purposeful assignments for teacher aide(s) and volunteer(s) and cooperatively with department heads.
• Participate in district and campus staff development.
• Attend staff meetings and serve on staff committees.
• Maintain a professional relationship with colleagues.
• Prepare and submit lesson plans in a timely manner on the platform the school utilizes.
• Maintain a minimum number of grades in the grade book promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
