PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Hired applicant is responsible for coaching a middle school UIL sport offered by the McAllen ISD Athletic Department: football volleyball cross country tennis swimming basketball soccer golf cheerleading & track and field.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
High School Diploma or GED and
Associates Degree or a minimum of 48 college hours required
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to work cooperatively with student athletes coaching staff teachers administration and parents; must fulfill all UIL requirements for coaches-Rules Compliance Program Professional Acknowledgement Form First Aid and CPR certified must attend a UIL Orientation Session must attend Concussion Training as scheduled; knowledge of fitness and sports activities; and ability to speak read write and follow written and oral instructions
Experience:
Previous experience working with student athletes in sports and recreational activities preferred
Working Days: 180 / Up to 25 hrs per week
