Information specific to this position:The Extended Learning Opportunities (ELO) branch is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated instructors to lead after-school academic and enrichment clubs at designated Title I and 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) sites for the Fall 2026 session. Program schedules will vary depending on the assigned site and the types of clubs offered will be based on each instructors experience skills and interests. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact by engaging students in hands-on fun and purposeful learning experiences outside the traditional classroom.Multiple positions available.

Fall 2026 Program Dates & Schedules:September 14 December 10 2026

Site Locations & Weekly Schedules:

  • Bauder Elementary: Tuesdays & Thursdays 3:30 PM 5:30 PM
  • Blevins Middle School: Monday through Thursday 2:15 PM 5:15 PM
  • Harris Elementary: Mondays & Wednesdays 2:15 PM 4:15 PM
  • Irish Elementary: Monday through Thursday 3:30 PM 5:30 PM
  • Laurel Elementary: Mondays & Wednesdays 2:15 PM 4:15 PM
  • Linton Elementary: Tuesdays & Thursdays 3:30 PM 5:30 PM
  • Putnam Elementary: Tuesdays & Thursdays 3:00 PM 5:00 PM

Pay Rate:

  • Lead Instructor I: $30.00/hour
  • Lead Instructor II: $35.00/hour

Hours/day:2-3 hours per day 2-4 days per week

Work calendardays:Varied

Duration of position: One Semester Only

Benefits include: PERA retirement

Pay range listed above is for employees newly hired to PSD (existing employees please refer to the pay range on the appropriate salary schedule). PSD engages in a salary placement process vs. a salary negotiation process.
