Job Summary
Our Part-Time Substitute School Nurses impact students lives by:
- Responding with urgency to student health and hygiene needs
- Obtaining students health history; providing health assessments and ongoing counseling with students parents school personnel or health agencies
- Screening and evaluating deficiencies in vision hearing and growth
- Maintaining evaluating and interpreting health data to accommodate individual student needs
- Developing and implementing student health plans
- Developing systems and procedures to provide emergency nursing services for injuries and illnesses
- Administering medication to students as needed

Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to sit stand walk talk hear operate a computer and other office equipment reach with hands and arms and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
