1st shift Production Team Leader

Reporting to the Production Group Leader (Supervisor) the Team Leader will supportapproximately 5-10team members on a production work team. The Team Leader willutilizeleaderstandard work to coach develop and build capabilities of team members.

Position Responsibilities:

Primary duties:

• Assimilate and train new team members within their area/zone.

• Communicate safety news quality findings human resources updates and line rate/goals to team in daily pre-shiftmeeting.

• Ensure all team members are following safety procedures.Obtain proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for team members when necessary.

• Work with team members to generate and support ideas for Continuous Improvement. Keep a mindset of Continuous Improvement in everything you do.

• Hold team members accountable for adherence to standardized work and safety guidelines.

• Escalate any production issues/systemic problems to Group Leaders.

• Maintain shift-to-shift communications with other Team Leaders and Group Leaders.

• Update andmaintainKey Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other metrics for area/zone.

What You NeedToSucceed:

• Prior experience leading others in a work or volunteer capacity.

• Understanding ofmanufacturing processes is preferred.

• Mustpossessa genuine people-centric mentality and a heart for servant leadership.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills problemsolvingand troubleshooting ability.

• Proven leadership capabilities.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
