1st Shift Production Supervisor Discrete Manufacturing

Based in our Sherman Texas location you will provide first shift supervision (Monday - Thursday 4AM - 2PM) to production teams while championing safety quality and operational this role you will drive results through effective execution employee engagement and a relentless focus on meeting customer commitments. In this Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Lead coach and develop a high-performing team of employees and contingent workers by providing clear direction meaningful feedback training performance evaluations and effective workforce planning and scheduling.
• Establish and continuously improve standardized work procedures and operating instructions to drive consistency efficiency quality and operational excellence.
• Investigate Service Requests to identify root causes implement sustainable corrective actions and proactively prevent future issues through a continuous improvement mindset.
• Own the execution of operational results by driving on-time delivery of customer orders maintaining inventory accuracy and achieving plant goals related to safety quality productivity cost reduction and lead-time improvement.
• Foster a culture of engagement accountability and open communication by serving as a trusted liaison between employees and staff facilitating regular toolbox meetings aligning teams around priorities and performance targets and empowering employees to identify and solve problems.
• Build organizational capability by mentoring team members recognizing and developing talent and creating growth opportunities that strengthen both individual performance and the long-term success of the operation.

For This Role You Will Need:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three (3) years of functional and/or operational experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Bachelors Degree in related field.
• Experience in machining operations.
• Two (2) years of functional supervisory/leadership experience.
• Five (5) years of functional and/or operational experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven understanding of applicable products and processes in a value stream.
• Lean Manufacturing training / experience.
