1^st Shift Precision CNC Turning/VLT Machinist

Hours: 6am-430pm

Cincinnati OH

Responsibilities:

- Setup and operatehorizontal and vertical CNC lathes including machines with multi-axis and live tooling capabilities.

- Select appropriate cutting tools inserts and work holding solutions based on part geometry and material.

- Machine precision parts to tight tolerances (typically .0005) and meet strict surface finish requirements.

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints process documentation and GD&T specifications.

- Performin-process inspectionsusing micrometers bore gages calipers height gages and other precision measuring tools.

- Maintain and adjust machine offsets tooling wear and work holding to ensure consistent quality.

- Follow routers setup sheets and document any deviations or improvements.

- Work collaboratively with engineering programming and quality to resolve dimensional or machining issues.

- Supportcross-trainingefforts and contribute to a positive team-oriented culture.

- Maintain clean and organized work area aligned with6S principlesand all company safety policies.

- Participate incontinuous improvementinitiatives related to quality tooling and process efficiency.

Requirements:

- 3-5 years of experiencesetting up and operatingCNC lathes(horizontal and/or vertical) in a precision machining environment

- Familiarity withFanuc and/or Siemenscontrols

- Strong knowledge of tooling insert geometry speeds/feeds and best practices for machining tough materials

- Proficient in blueprint reading andGD&T interpretation

- Skilled in the use of precision inspection tools and able to perform accurate in-process inspections

- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts

- Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods

- Must be aU.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident(required for ITAR compliance)

- Pre-employmentdrug screening required (10 panel) and pass background check
