Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
3yearsofexperience in amanufacturingsupervisory roleor 2 years of Tyson supervisory experience.
Familiarity with processing floor operationspreferred.
HACCP certificationand a basicunderstandingofHACCP principals and the ability to perform CCP monitoring verificationpreferred.
Knowledge of freshmeatsprocessingpreferred.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to access all areas of the production floor to conduct audits and inspectionsusing fixed laddersstairsstepsetc.
Able to tolerate environmental conditionsin the area ofresponsibility. The temperature inmost of theareas range from 28-45 Fahrenheit.
Computer Skills:
Basic computer skills.
Communication Skills:
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Able to communicate with all levels of management.
Special Skills:
Team-leaderproblem-solvingand motivation to take on special projects.
Supervisory:
Responsible for allproductionoperations at the facility. Thisincludes managing all production supervisorsdepartmentsproduction schedulesproduct rotationCCP verification schedulesand overseeingthesafety committee. This roleincludes responsibility to review team members in these roles and developandimprovein anydeficient areas.
Travel:
Some travelisas needed.
