Location: Morgan City LA
Shift: Day Shift
Position: Full-Time
Seeking experienced 1st Class Flux Core Welders for a busy shipyard performing new vessel construction. Candidates must be able to pass a hands-on weld test at the shipyard.
Must Have:
- 3 years FCAW (Flux Core) welding experience
- Shipyard marine or heavy industrial experience
- Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
- Ability to pass an onsite weld test
- Reliable transportation and attendance
Preferred:
- 1st Class Shipyard Welder experience
- New construction vessel experience
- Multi-position welding experience
Qualifying Questions:
- How many years of FCAW welding experience do you have
- Do you have shipyard or marine welding experience
- Can you pass an onsite Flux Core weld test
- Can you read blueprints and welding symbols
- Are you available for full-time day shift work in Morgan City LA
