Location: Broomfield CO Hybrid 3 days onsite per week
Schedule: MondayFriday 8-hour shift lunch Must be available during core hours of 9:00 AM3:00 PM
Pay Rate: $24.31/hour
Contract: 612 months Potential for permanent conversion
Start Date: ASAP

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Underwriting Services Assistant I to join a growing insurance team. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone interested in building a career within insurance and underwriting.

In this role you will support the underwriting team by processing policy-related requests managing incoming work and ensuring information is handled accurately and efficiently. Training will be provided with opportunities to gain additional responsibility as you become proficient in the role.

What Youll Do

• Support entry-level underwriting and insurance operations
• Process binds endorsements cancellations and policy-related requests
• Work from a production/task queue to complete assigned requests
• Monitor and triage emails within a shared Outlook inbox
• Route requests and documentation to the appropriate team members
• Review information for accuracy and completeness
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Use Microsoft Outlook and Excel for daily tasks
• Follow established procedures and quality standards
• Work independently as knowledge and authority are gained

What Were Looking For

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply
• Previous insurance or underwriting support experience is a plus but not required
• Experience working in a production processing administrative or customer service environment
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to learn new processes and follow detailed procedures
• Self-sufficient dependable and team-oriented
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and basic Excel

Working Conditions:

• May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels such as from office equipment.
• The ability to lift up to 30lbs.
• Use of computers and technology
