Heidelberg Materials is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QC Tech to support quality assurance initiatives across aggregate operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring products meet quality standards regulatory requirements and customer expectations while partnering closely with operations sales and external stakeholders.
- Perform quality control testing and sampling of aggregate products at production sites and customer locations.
- Analyze test results maintain accurate records and communicate findings to support product quality and compliance.
- Coordinate and oversee quality assurance activities while promoting adherence to testing standards and procedures.
- Collaborate with operations and sales teams to address quality concerns and support customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal state and local regulations while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Up to 75% travel out of state.
- Must be willing and able to be certified in 4 states.
- Demonstrated knowledge of aggregate testing methods quality control practices and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to obtain and maintain relevant industry or state certifications as required.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to use testing equipment technology and data management systems.
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills for working with customers regulatory agencies and internal teams.
- Self-motivated professional with strong analytical organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
- Must have aggregate operations experience
- Work is performed in laboratory quarry plant and outdoor job site environments.
- Regular lifting material sampling standing walking and climbing may be required.
- Exposure to varying weather conditions dust noise and moving equipment is expected.
- Occasional overtime and travel between operational and customer locations may be required.
