Job Summary
Full-Time Term-Time Only Long-Term Contract (Sept 2026 July 2027)

Providing dedicated 1:1 support to a named pupil with additional needs throughout the school day
Implementing strategies outlined in the pupils EHCP under SENDCO guidance
Supporting the pupil to access the curriculum engage with peers and participate positively in school life
Maintaining accurate records of progress and wellbeing and feeding back to the class teacher and SENDCO
Building a consistent trusted and nurturing relationship with the pupil and their family
The ideal 1:1 Support Assistant will hold a 2:1 or 1st Class degree from a top 30 UK university. Previous experience supporting children with additional needs in a UK school or educational setting is highly valued.
They are seeking a patient warm and dedicated 1:1 Support Assistant with strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to making a meaningful difference to one childs educational journey.
Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK as the school is unable to offer visa sponsorship.
- 100-110 per day
Full-time long-term contract from September 2026 to July 2027
