Job Summary
A Pack Lead is responsible for leading day-to-day operations within the packing department ensuring safety productivity quality and workflow are maintained while supporting associates and leadership.

Position Summary:
The Pack Lead assists operations leadership by coordinating daily activities in the packing department. This role ensures associates are working safely and efficiently monitors production goals resolves operational barriers and provides real-time coaching to help the team achieve productivity and quality targets.
- Lead and support a team of pack associates throughout the shift.
- Assign work based on operational priorities and staffing levels.
- Monitor productivity quality and safety performance.
- Ensure CPT (Critical Pull Time) deadlines are met.
- Track workflow and identify bottlenecks affecting production.
- Coordinate with Pick Rebin Problem Solve SLAM and Ship Dock teams to maintain workflow.
- Provide real-time coaching on productivity quality and standard work.
- Escalate equipment issues inventory shortages and operational concerns to leadership.
- Monitor associate attendance break compliance and labor utilization.
- Conduct safety observations and reinforce safe work practices.
- Ensure workstations remain organized and compliant with 5S standards.
- Assist with training and onboarding new associates.
- Support problem-solving efforts to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
- Communicate shift priorities performance updates and operational changes to the team.
- Maintain accurate production records and report shift performance to leadership.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse distribution or fulfillment center experience preferred.
- Leadership or team lead experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ability to analyze productivity metrics and make operational decisions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.
