What Youll Be Doing

• Diagnose troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment including crushers conveyors screens and mobile heavy equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure safe efficient and reliable plant operations
• Inspect equipment identify potential issues and take corrective action to minimize downtime
• Weld fabricate and install parts and components as needed to support plant maintenance
• Collaborate with plant personnel to prioritize maintenance needs and support production goals

What Are We Looking For

• Demonstrated ability to maintain and repair industrial mechanical equipment in a quarry mining or heavy industrial setting
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
• Proficiency in welding fabrication and use of maintenance tools and equipment
• Commitment to safety and ability to follow established procedures and protocols
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination drug/alcohol screen and background check
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment inclement weather heat cold humidity and elevated noise level.
