Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria Virginia and Orlando Florida USA with technical support centers in Southeast Asia and East Africa that provide program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning design infrastructure management technical consulting engineering and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army Air Force Navy Marine Corps) missions along with other US federal agencies all over the world.
The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall management coordination and communication of infrastructure projects. This role requires strong leadership sound technical judgment and proven experience delivering complex multisector infrastructure projects to time cost and quality standards.
Key responsibilities:
Lead and manage project communications with clients consultants contractors and key stakeholders.
Oversee the implementation of infrastructure works to ensure delivery on schedule within scope and within budget.
Ensure full compliance with technical standards contractual obligations and applicable regulatory requirements.
Monitor project performance risks and progress and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Coordinate and lead multidisciplinary technical teams involved in project delivery.
Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Qualifications To be successful in the role:
experience serving as a Project Manager overseeing infrastructure projects.
Demonstrated experience managing projects in one or more of the following sectors: Housing Healthcare facilities Institutional buildings or Critical infrastructure.
Extensive experience in the implementation and supervision of infrastructure works.
A masters degree in architecture Civil Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related field (e.g. Business Administration Economics or similar) with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience OR a bachelors degree in the same disciplines with a minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience.
Strong leadership coordination and team management skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Proven ability to manage complex multi sector infrastructure projects
Strong problem solving and decision-making capability
