Manufacturing Engineer (Fabrication)

Boeing Ukraine is currently looking for Fabrication Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Kyiv Ukraine.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Serves as the primary engineering support for the commodity/program ensuring all technical fabrication aspects are addressed; investigates and resolves engineering issues that impact performance cost or schedule.

• Conducts technical reviews and checks to improve First Time Quality; reviews and approves supplier data drawings and work instructions to ensure manufacturing requirements are met.

• Collaborates with stakeholders to identify key technical enablers and process risks that affect fabrication and defines mitigation or enablement projects.

• Develops implements and maintains manufacturing plans Bills of Materials work instructions routings and illustrations to define and document plans for manufacturing parts.

• Works with Design Engineering to provide producibility input during Technical Design Reviews and as crossfunctional unit to meet cost schedule and manufacturing constraints.

• Applies Lean principles and datadriven analysis to streamline workflows reduce waste and build business cases for process automation or tooling improvements.

• Contributes to the definition of enhancement projects to bring value to the shop floor operations and make them more efficient and increase quality.

• Applies new engineering principles theories technologies and manufacturing concepts to improve fabrication capability and performance.

• Mentors teammates within the area of responsibility contributes to training program development and delivery and supports skill development of less experienced staff.

• Pursues best practices and actively contributes to knowledge generation and sharing.

• Effectively communicates to stakeholders to remove impediments and ensure timely deliverables of high quality.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology) Computer Science Data Science Mathematics Physics Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.

• 5 years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Stakeholder management.

• High awareness of the Engineering life-cycle (Design Check Planning Manufacturing).

• Fluent English and Ukrainian.

• Permit to work in Ukraine.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4 years experience in Production Industrial Engineering.

• 4 years experience in a Manufacturing environment.

• Experience implementing or defining new Manufacturing processes in a production setting.

• Extensive experience with Boeing engineering requirements and processes.

• Experience with the following software PDM CAPP CATIA IVT CDS ENOVIA ERP.
