The Role

To ensure the safe loading and unloading of bagged/packaged stock as required by loading and unloading documentation. Accurate picking of bagged goods in line with customer orders and tomaintaina hygienic and tidy warehouse.

WhatWereLooking For

  • Experience of working in an operational environment& working with diverse teams dealing with internal and external stakeholders

  • Excellentcommunication skills

  • Technical Aptitude: Basic technical and fault-finding abilities to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.

  • Numeracy and Literacy: A solid foundation in numeracy and literacy to ensure clear communication andaccuratedata handling.

  • Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with essential software applications including Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor physical qualityof bagged/packaged items and stored in the approved manner report/react to non-compliances as directed.

  • Maintain effective communicationwith Shift Manager and warehouse Lead Op all operations staff weighbridgeoperatorand CSD team.

  • Monitor delivery/collectionvehicles and personnel as regards company requirements.

  • Ensure all paperworkis completedin accordance withlegislative and management requirements.

  • Ensuring correct stockrotation and stock control

  • Alwaysmaintaina high standard of hygiene and housekeepingin the warehouse and loading lane.

  • Racking Control-ensuring any damaged racking is reported.

  • Fleet Management-with new electric trucks in transition ensuring quality checks to the highest standard.
