Warehouse Operative/ FLT driver
Monday to Friday 7:30am 5:00pm (42.5 hours per week)
13.59 per hour
Croydon- CR0
Temporary with potential to be made permanent after 12 successful weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Our client based in Croydon is looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join the team on a temporary to permanent basis. This is a hands-on role within a busy warehouse and yard environment supporting daily operations while delivering excellent service to trade customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading goods in and out of the warehouse and yard
- Picking and preparing materials ready for loading and delivery
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse and yard
- Carrying out stock counts and supporting inventory control
- Serving trade customers at the trade counter
- Completing general warehouse and yard duties
- Operating FLT equipment safely and efficiently
- Following all health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
- Valid FLT (Forklift Truck) licence essential
- Previous warehouse or yard experience preferred
- Good organisational and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Candidates should ideally live locally to the Croydon area
- Available to start immediately
