Job Summary
Job Title : Warehouse Manager Responsible to : Production DirectorDepartment : WarehouseMain Purpose : Responsible for smooth and efficient day to day running of the warehouse managing finished stock and efficient delivery of orders to customers within budgeted labour cost. This is a permanent position working 38 hours per week (Monday to Friday hours). Salary 38000 dependant on ResponsibilitiesLeadership & OperationsLead and provide direction to all warehouse staff and customer service team on all matters relating to Logistics/Export/Customs requirements and work with warehouse team to provide support in all aspects of the daily effective recruitment and retention of for overseeing the PDR process within the warehouse and anticipate/identify training and development for ensuring quality of work audits are in place and ensuring that staff training is implemented where all staff are aware of Company goals achievements results policies time management & absence rules & Disciplinary and Attendance management interviews in conjunction with and direct daily meetings within department to ensure plans and requirements are clearly communicated and highlight daily closely with the warehouse team to anticipate and resolve any problems with regard to timescales in the most efficient way possible making decisions on any changes to priority to maximise efficiency whilst minimising any disruption to work throughput regularly with appropriate members of the team and discuss providing recommendations and implementing improvements to department processes with regard to efficiency and for collecting maintaining and reporting performance metrics at weekly and monthly levels and to ensure staffing levels are at the ideal level to achieve the production targets within the point of contact for carriers to ensure consistency and reliability of everyone adheres to the expected standards of housekeeping. Responsible for setting clear housekeeping expectations and ensuring these standards are with other department Directors/Managers to align and synchronise weekly monthly and yearly liaise closely with the Planning/CS teams to achieve OTIF and highlight to them any possible hold ups and ensure any possible bottlenecks/problems are solved in a timely holidays ensuring systems are in place for 50 week involve and utilise each team member to their fullest team to work together in the most efficient manner for the needs of the and facilitate effective and regular team meetings with production and planning others to develop as leaders while serving as a role model and with other areas of the business as necessary with regard to quality issues and improvements to processes/new quality standards and targets are achieved.
