Venue & Event Manager

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Liverpoolto assist with the appointment of a Venue & Event Manager on a 7-month contract likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 18.40 - 24.26 per hour

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Venue & Event Manager to lead the sales planning coordination and operational delivery of events across prestigious venue locations. Acting as the primary point of contact for clients from initial enquiry through to event delivery you will ensure exceptional customer experiences while driving venue hire income developing new business opportunities and maintaining the highest standards of event management and venue operations.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the event lifecycle from enquiry to delivery.
• Drive venue hire sales and identify opportunities to increase commercial income.
• Develop coordinate and manage corporate public and private events.
• Conduct venue tours client presentations and convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
• Prepare quotations proposals contracts and procurement documentation.

Essentials:

• Experience within Venue Management Event Management Sales Operations Hospitality Logistics or a related field.
• Event Management knowledge and experience.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SIA accreditation and First Aid certification.
• Personal Licence Holder (Licensing Act).
• Proven experience coordinating events and managing multiple stakeholders.
• Strong client relationship management and customer service skills.
• Experience generating income through venue hire events or commercial activities.

• This role requires aBasic DBS
