Skilled Groundworker

We are looking for experienced Skilled Groundworkers to join our teams on a busy project inDover. You will be a skilled all-rounder capable across pipelaying deep drainage externals and external works working within an established gang to deliver high-quality groundworks.

• Setting up and using trench boxes drag boxes manhole boxes and pipe lasers
• Laying concrete clay and plastic pipes (all sizes) to correct bed surround and levels
• Ensuring pipes are tested and laid correctly throughout
• Managing groundwater and setting up the correct pump for the task
• Ensuring correct backfilling of trenches
• Benching of all manholes
• External works including kerbs edgings slabs and block paving
• Working safely around live services using correct service avoidance techniques
• Carrying out daily pre-start plant safety inspections

• CSCS Groundworker card or similar qualification
• Confined Space ticket
• Safety Critical Medical (site specific)
• CAT & Genny Training
• Reliable punctual and able to work well with other trades
• Right to work in the UK
• Dumper tickets

• CPCS / NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) Forward Tipping Dumper*
• CPCS / NPORS* Ride-On Roller
• Abrasive Wheels Training
• Face Fit Certification
• Harness Awareness Certification
• 510 years of skilled groundworks experience
• Experienced working gangs / teams highly sought after

* Please note: to comply with client requirements we can only accept NPORS cards that are CSCS-affiliated and carry the CSCS hologram. If you do not currently meet this requirement please still get in touch we are happy to guide you through the transfer process.
