Senior Project Manager

Joint Project Manager Ship lift Programme

This programme will lead the delivery of critical upgrade and maintenance works for the clients ship lift a key facility supporting the UKs submarine fleet.

What Youll Do

• Lead the planning delivery and completion of a complex engineering upgrade and maintenance programme.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time within budget and to the highest quality standards.
• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules and performance reporting.
• Coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders including MoD Babcock Marine specialist contractors and site management teams.
• Provide project governance progress updates financial reporting and risk management.
• Identify assess and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Ensure compliance with defence health & safety environmental and security requirements.
• Support audits assurance activities and quality control processes.

Experience

What were Looking For

• Proven experience delivering complex engineering infrastructure or maintenance projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience managing schedules budgets risks and project governance change control.
• Ability to operate effectively within a multi-agency and highly regulated environment.
• Knowledge of defence nuclear infrastructure or heavy engineering projects is highly desirable.

Training & Qualifications

Formal project management qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2 APM PMQ MSP or equivalent).
