Senior Practice Accountant
TPF Recruitment is supporting a highly regarded independent accountancy practice in Kent with the recruitment of a Senior Practice Accountant to join their growing team.

The position would suit an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant someone nearing qualification or a qualified by experience practice professional seeking a varied and rewarding role within a supportive environment.
The Role
As a Senior Practice Accountant you will manage a varied portfolio of owner managed businesses limited companies and sole traders providing a broad range of accounting services including:
- Preparation and review of statutory accounts
- Preparation and review of management accounts
- Review of bookkeeping and VAT returns
- Preparation and review of corporation tax computations and returns
- Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team
- Assisting with some audit assignments and audit fieldwork - training provided.
Requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualification are studying towards qualification or are qualified by experience
- Recent experience working within an accountancy practice environment
- Experience preparing statutory accounts
- Good knowledge of management accounts and general practice work
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- A proactive and positive approach to work
- A desire to broaden their technical knowledge and continue developing professionally

Required Skills:
Preferably qualified ACA/ACCA or by experience. 5-10 years experience within an accountancy practice experience. Experience preparing accounts and tax returns. Experience of QuickBooks Xero or Sage would be advantageous.
