Senior Network Engineer

As a Sr. Network Engineer you will be a member of the Network Engineering team. Youll work as part of a tight-knight team responsible for planning implementing and supporting technical solutions across enterprise cloud and trading environments. This role requires deep technical operational and communication skills to deliver results across the trading platform.

What Youll Do

• Design implement operate and support CTCs global network infrastructure
• Collaborate with traders developers operations teams technologists and management to deliver high-quality network solutions to real-world problems
• Take a data driven approach to analyzing and solving complex network infrastructure issues
• Guide projects from beginning to end including design procurement implementation and documentation
• Use automation to improve efficiency and manage the network at scale
• Enhance monitoring and alerting for network and application performance
• Participate in an on-call rotation with the team for off-hours support. Other duties as assigned or needed.

What were looking for

• Extensive experience supporting a large-scale global Network with hands-on experience in low-latency architecture
• Deep knowledge of low-level network debugging with a track record of solving performance issues
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP & Ethernet networking including unicast and multicast routing protocols
• Strong problem-solving under pressure and a collaborative customer-service mindset; financial trading industry experience preferred
